Since 2nd February 2003, Nirmal Ashram, Jandali Khurd, Ahmedgarh, has been actively engaged in the free distribution of plants as part of its environmental awareness and conservation mission. This initiative promotes the message of living in harmony with nature, in alignment with Sikh teachings that emphasize respect for all forms of life. Thousands of saplings—ranging from fruit-bearing trees to shade-providing and medicinal plants—are distributed to households, schools, Gurdwaras, and public institutions.

Community Engagement for a Greener Future
The plant distribution drives are accompanied by awareness campaigns about environmental protection and sustainable living. Ashram sevadars and volunteers also help guide recipients on proper care and planting techniques to ensure healthy growth. Special emphasis is placed on involving youth and schoolchildren to cultivate a culture of environmental responsibility from a young age. This green initiative has not only beautified numerous areas but also contributed to cleaner air and healthier surroundings. Through the ongoing free plant distribution program, Nirmal Ashram continues to sow the seeds of hope, healing, and harmony for future generations.
