Honoring Tradition Through Sport

Established on 2nd April 2006, the Guru Angad Sahib Wrestling Arena at Nirmal Ashram, Jandali Khurd, Ahmedgarh, has become a symbol of physical strength, discipline, and Sikh heritage. Named in honor of Guru Angad Dev Ji, who encouraged physical fitness among Sikhs, the arena hosts an Annual Wrestling Tournament (Dangal) that attracts wrestlers from across the region and beyond. This traditional sport is promoted not just as competition but as a way to instill values of perseverance, integrity, and community pride among youth.
